According to Heath Department sources, polio was diagnosed in four-year-old child in Mashupeky Shukhan area, suburb of Peshawar city.
With this new polio confirmation, the number of cases in Pakistan has reached 188 including 34 children hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The experts have said that if the number of polio cases exceeds 199 by the end of this year, Pakistan could face more international restrictions.
