ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan says Pakistan cannot be pressured by military force adding that the region faces many problems and Kashmir is one of the core issues which can only be solved through dialogue.
Addressing a press conference after the national security conference in Islamabad, Nisar said, both countries are nuclear capable which is a big responsibility. He further added, that Pakistan will defend its geographical security.
The Interior Minister told journalists, that the National Security Council focused on operation Zarb-e-Azb, the line of control (LoC) and the state of the working boundary situation.
The Interior Minister said, over the last few days 13 people were martyred by India’s unprovoked firing, which the minister said was responded befittingly. He added, that they attacked us and we silenced their guns.
Nisar further said that Pakistan has proven that its armed forces are capable of defending Pakistan. He added that Pakistan will not accept an Indian monopoly nor will it be the fuel for it.
Chaudhry Nisar said, that Pakistanis were celebrating Eid when they opened fire from across the border. He said Pakistan will not tolerate foreign administration at any cost.
The Interior Minister also said, that India should realize that echoes of gunfire has disrupted the atmosphere, adding that rulers across the border should realize this.
