SSP Malir Rao Anwar said an unknown person has informed about the crash that took place within the limits of Gaddap police station.
He said the plane crashed at the route leading to Balochistan province.
Meanwhile, Civil Aviation Authority sources said it was small aircraft of Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
