Pakistan, Russia decide to boost defence ties
ISLAMABAD: Russia will provide helicopters and other equipment to Pakistan to assist the South Asian country in its war against terror.

Bilateral relations between both the countries saw improvement during the recent visit of Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu.

The visiting Russian minister and Khawaja Muhammad Asif agreed to increase defence cooperation between both the countries.

Sources said Russia will provide military helicopter MI-35, engines for JF-17 and other equipment to Pakistan for war against terror.
