PESHAWAR: Jamiat-e-Ulema-i-Islam protesters forced Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Pervez Khattak to change his route he had taken to reach Islamabad to attend Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf rally.
The protesters had blocked motorway in protest against the killing of senior JUI-F leader Khalid Soomro. Soomro was killed in Sukker on Saturday morning.
JUI-F local leaders said that their protest was against the federal government and PTI should be supporting them.
