Govt ready for unconditional talks with PTI: Dar
ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday said that the government was ready to hold unconditional talks with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Addressing a press conference, he said that a meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Core Committee chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif decided that the party is ready to hold unconditional and result oriented talks.

He said that PTI demand for Nawaz Sharif resignation was unconstitutional. The minister claimed that Imran Khan led party had withdrawn its demand of the prime minister’s resignation.

Dar said that he and Ahsan Iqbal would be holding talks with the PTI. “We appeal to PTI to cancel its planned rallies and announce names of its team for talks,” he added.
