Political leaders meet as Pakistan mourns Peshawar massacre
PESHAWAR: Leaders of almost all the top political parties will attend a meeting convened by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today (Wednesday) to discuss the situation that emerged after the deadly attack at a school in Peshawar where militants killed almost 141 people including 132 children.

Federal minister Ishaq Dar and Pervez Rashid say the terror attack in Peshawar and other challenges faced by the country would come under discussion during the meeting of national parliamentary parties' meeting presided over by the prime minister.


Representatives from Awami National Party, Muttahida Qaumi Movement, and Pakistan People’s Party, Qaumi Watan Party, Pashtunkhwa Mili Awami Party and others will attend the meeting.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan who has been protesting against the government since August has also announced that he will attend the meeting convened by the prime minister.
