Sindh government responsible if timber market fire is a conspiracy: Khawaja Izhar

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Monday, filed a motion in the Sindh Assembly regarding the Timber market fire tragedy.

MQM Central Information Committee member Khawaja Izhar Hassan said that if the incident was a deliberate conspiracy then the government is solely responsible for it. While MQM member of Sindh Assembly Khalid Ahmed said that the Administrator Karachi was an incompetent person.

MQM also submitted resolutions in the assembly regarding the Peshawar tragedy as well as the arrest warrant for Lal Masjid chief cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz, and submitted a bill in favour of upgrading the status of Medical and Dental College to a university.
