According to the police, the dacoits had killed a police personnel and injured two others on Sunday. The police was searching them.
Both the accused were hiding in bushes and when they saw police coming close to them, they resorted to firing. In retaliatory action, the dacoits were killed.
The injured police ascertained the identities of the dacoits, killed in the shootout.
