Will open bicycle shop for those crying '35 punctures': Abid Sher Ali
FAISALABAD: Federal Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Thursday criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying a shop of bicycles will be opened for those who have been beating the drums of '35 punctures'.

Talking to newsmen during his visit to Nandipur power project, the Federal Minister said contractors of power project had fled during the previous government’s rule.

He said had present government not shown seriousness, the investment of Rs33 billions would have gone to waste.

Abid Sher Ali claimed that today Nandipur plant is producing 425 mega watt (MW) electricity as a result of an investment of Rs58 billion in the project. He, however, added that the project will soon be converted from furnace oil to gas and its production capacity would be enhanced to 525 MW.

He announced that only 10 to 15 percent power loadshedding would be conducted during Eid holidays.
