Police said, the assailants targeted Saeed when he was returning home after Isha prayers on Sunday. The miscreants managed to flee.
The body was shifted to central hospital of Saidu Sharif for postmortem.
Police have lodged a case started further investigation.
Security forces launched search operation after the killing of Saeed, however, the accused was still at large.
