MULTAN: Dengue virus continues to wreak havoc in Punjab, as sixty-nine more patients have been confirmed with the mosquito bite disease, pushing the tally of such patients to 2000 in the province.



According to the Punjab Health Department, the city that was most affected by the dengue virus this year is Rawalpindi where the number of patients has climbed to 1,698.



In Multan 160 people have been affected by dengue virus while in Lahore 21 patients have been reported. In last 24 hours Rawalpindi registered 51 more cases of dengue and Multan 18.
