Gangster among three accused killed in Karachi police encounter

KARACHI: At least three accused were killed in exchange of fire with police in various areas of Karachi.

SSP City Fida Hussain said police conducted raid in Lyari’s Baghdadi area for arrest of wanted accused Rana, who belongs to gangster Sheraz Comrade group. In exchange of fire, the accused was killed.

Accused Rana was involved in killing of 15 people including Akbar Nagori, brother of MPA Javed Nagori.

Separately, an accused involved in the murder of seven people was killed in police shootout in Mochko area.

In another incident, an accused who had sustained injuries in encounter with police in New Town, succumbed to his wounds in Jinnah Hospital.
