In a talk with Variety, Matthew McConaughey opened up about Nicolas Cage entering the True Detective franchise in season 5 to play his role of Rustin Cohle.
When he was asked if he has any advice in store for Cohle, the Interstellar star replied, "I don't [have advice]. I know Nicolas well enough that I know Nicolas is going to do his version of Nicolas."
