SC directs sending fresh notices to organizations refusing audit
ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court Tuesday directed issuing fresh notices to all such organizations not allowing audit of their accounts, Geo News reported.

SC three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is hearing the case relating to the organizations refusing audit of their accounts.

During the hearing, AGP told the apex court that there is 19 such organizations including DHA, Pak-China Corporation, FBR, Wah Ordinance Factory, who do not get their accounts audited and refuse audit without giving any reason. According to the officials, their team goes for audit, but they are asked to go back without giving any reason, the court was told.

Later, the apex court directed to send fresh notices to all these audit-defiant organizations and adjourned further hearing until August 5.
