Model Town tragedy: 5 cops remanded to police

LAHORE: A special anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday handed over five policemen to police on a 5-day physical remand in connection with Model Town Tragedy case.

According to details, the police produced five policemen, Station House Officer (SHO) Aamir Saleem, Hafiz Athar, Naveed, Kashif and Khurram, before the special court of Judge Ayub Marther, seeking physical remand of the accused.

The police told the court that government weapons that were in use by the arrested policemen had been seized. On the other hand, former SSP operations Rana Abdul Jabbbar approached the court for a pre-arrest bail.
