Three killed in Karakoram highway explosion

GILGIT: Three people were killed and several others injured in an explosion in a passenger van at Shahra-e-Karakoram on Thursday evening, Geo News reported.

After the blast, occurred near Alam bridge, fire engulfed the passenger van. The dead and injured have been rushed to nearby medical centre.

The rescue teams and security personnel arrived on the site after the explosion.

The nature of the blast was not ascertained till filing of this report.
