Cross border shelling from Iran injures 7 Pakistanis
TURBAT: Iranian Forces on Monday fired mortar shells across the border into Pakistan near Turbat region, injuring seven people.

According to local administration, Iranian Border Forces fired more than 50 mortar shells into Pakistani territory near Zamran border, injuring seven Pakistani civilians and damaging their properties. The shelling started in the wee hours of Monday and continued till 9 A.M.

Sources said unknown miscreants had attacked Iranian personnel near Zamran border region, reportedly killing three Iranian border guards including an officer. In retaliation, the Iranian border forces fired mortar shells into Pakistan.
