The series which first aired on Geo Tez has won multiple awards including an American Peabody award and an Asian Media Award.

The very first episode, highlighting the importance of education for girls, has been nominated for the International Emmy Kids Award which will take place in New York on Friday the 20th of February.

The ceremony in New York will be attended by Director Haroon Rashid and Ainny Jafri the Pakistani model who voiced Jiya for the series.
