Pakistan Army protests with UN to probe border violations
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army on Thursday launched a protest with the United Nations Military Observer Group in Pakistan (UNMOGIP) against India’s unprovoked and continuous border violations, according to the ISPR.

The ISPR said that the Pakistan Army has requested an investigation into the aggression along Line of Control (LoC) and Sialkot Working Boundary.

In particular, the Army said a detailed inquiry should be conducted by the (UNMOGIP) with regards the atrocities committed on August 4 during which at least three Pakistani civilians were martyred and 22 others were wounded.

It added that during the past seven months, at least 27 innocent civilians have been martyred while several others left injured.
