MQM worker's killing conspiracy against Karachi peace: DG Rangers

KARACHI: Director General (DG) Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar said the killing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker Muhammad Hashim was a conspiracy against peace in Karachi.

The DG Rangers added that there would be an investigation of Muhammad Hashim’s murder and the killers wherever they may be would be arrested.

MQM leader, Abdul Haseeb told the media that Muhammad Hashim was arrested and shifted to an undisclosed location on May 6 when he was traveling to his residence from MQM Headuqarters.

He said Hashim’s body was recovered on Sunday night from Jamshoro and that his burial has been performed by Edhi Welfare Trust.
