Eid Milad processions in Houston, Dallas

HOUSTON: Various religious and social organizations and educational institutions organized Eid Milad-un-Nabi processions in Houston and Dallas, two big cities of United States.

In Houston, Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession was taken out from Pakistan Center and led by various dignitaries including Mufti Qamar-ul-Islam, Allama Awais, Moulana Masood Raza Khan, Moulana and Ghulam Zarqani.

Procession was organized by Bazme-Mustafa Houston.

Large number of devotees participated in a Procession. Amidst spiritual atmosphere, the devotees were chanting Darood-o-Salam paying high tributes to Sarwar e Kainat, Rasool-i-Akram (PBUH).

Local Naat reciters, Aziz Khan, Faizan Rasool and zia Ahmed paid glorious tribute to Muhammad (PBUH).

Procession culminated at the same point.

In Dallas, The Procession was brought out from City hall Dallas downtown which was organized by the administration of various mosques including, Makkah Masjid, Madina Masjid, Zia-ul-Quran Center and Barakat-ul-Quran Center.

In spite of severe cold weather, devotees from Dallas and adjoining areas participated in the Milad procession.

The Procession was led by various dignitaries, including prominent Islamic Scholar, Dr Jameel Rathor, Allama Ali Ikram, Allama Siraj Misabhi, Moulana babar Rehmani, Qari Bilal Ahmed, Mufi Hafeez-ur-Rehman, Ghulam Gaghanda and Moulana Jabbar.

Participants were carrying Eid Milad oriented flags, banners and reciting Naat Sharif.

During Procession, Local Naat reciters, Muhammad Imtiaz Jan, Chaudhary Muhammad Zaman, Raza Ali, Habib Ayub, Shahjehan Ahmed, Hatim Zaki, Zahoor Ahmed, Muhammad Zubair Bashir, Tabarak Mian paid glorious tribute to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by reciting Naats whereas Faizan Arain, Riyan Hangora, Moiz Hassan, Saad Hassan, Jawab Hashmi threw the light on the importance of celebration of Eid Milad and paid homage to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

While addressing gathering of devotees, Dr Jameel Rathor, Allama Siraj Misabhi and Qari Bilal Ahmed highlighted the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and delivered the lectures emphasizing the need to follow the Holy Prophet's (PBUH) Sunnah.
