Ex PM Gilani sees PPP romping in elections
BAHAWALPUR: Former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will win majority of the seats in upcoming general elections, Geo News reported.

"This is the first time in Pakistan, the elected assemblies are completing their tenure" said he talking to mediamen here.

He said that PPP government restored the Constitution of 1973 and made record amendments for strengthening democratic institutions.

Gilani further said, about 8 million people were being provided financial aid through Benazir Income Support Programme BISP.

Earlier he condoled with the family members of former Chairman District Council Bahawalpur Syed Muhammad Awais Gardezi and offered Fateha for the departed soul.
