In a post on the US Consulate Karachi’s Facebook page and shared by the Embassy, visa applicants from Pakistan have been warned against fraud.
“A friendly reminder to our visa applicants: the the United States government does not offer visas to those who have not filed a proper visa application. If someone approaches you and tells you that you have been approved for a visa, or offers you a U.S. visa in exchange for money, they are most likely committing fraud,” the post said.
