Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone has said that she has made her peace with Katrina Kaif and was always fond of her.

Deepika and Katrina followed each other on Instagram recently, years after a cold war between them. Katrina had dated Ranbir Kapoor shortly after he broke-up with Deepika.

Ahead of Deepika and Ranver Singh’s wedding, rumours had been rife that Katrina may not be invited to their Mumbai reception, however, she was and she attended. Following the reception, Deepika began following Katrina on Instagram and the latter followed the former back.

Now, during an interview with Filmfare, Deepika was asked about her current equation with Katrina and she said, "A lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious (of her).”

“I've always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she's been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her," she added.

Earlier in an interview with Pinkvilla, Katrina spoke about how Ranveer made Deepika and her dance together during the reception. "It was a really warm and fun evening and we all had a good time. There was a lot of love and we all danced and ate and had great fun! I was there till the wee hours of the morning," Katrina shared.
