Salman, Arijit feud continues

A few months back, Salman Khan and singer Arijit Singh’s controversy had flashed across TV screens and made headlines after the singer had sent an apology letter to the actor on his social media account.

For the uninitiated, let us fill you in on the controversy. During an awards ceremony, when Arijit had attended an awards ceremony in an unformal attire, he ticked off Salman Khan who obviously felt that the singer had disrespected the prestigious awards and its honour.

Not interesting enough? But wait, there is more to tell. Soon, it became apparent that something was definitely wrong between the duo when Salman Khan removed Arijit’s song from his movie ‘Sultan’ and instead got Rahat Fateh Ali to sing it.

After this setback, Arijit sent Sallu bhai and apology letter after numerous attempts at reconciliation failed on his social media account. In his apology letter, Arijit clarified his reasons and openly asked for an apology but that too failed.

All caught up? Back to the present, it seems that all is still not well between the two. Apparently Arijit has sung a song for Salman’s next film ‘Tubelight’ but is unsure whether the actor would allow the song to be included in the film.

This is what he had to say, "Well, I will sing in Tubelight again. But after that, what will happen I don't know. But I will definitely sing because nobody can stop me from singing a song. Phir uske baad kya decision hoga woh toh unke upar hai. Unki naarazgi kitni hai un pe (The decision to be taken after that rests in his hands and depends on if he is still angry)," he said.

Well, from the above statement, one thing that definitely comes across loud and clear is that Arijit is no longer afraid to speak out against Salman and will continue to do as he pleases which is to sing and entertain his fans.
