ISLAMABAD: A working group of the Anti-Terrorism National Action Plan Committee (ATNAPC) of the Parliament on Sunday finalized initial draft of its recommendations.

According to sources, the 13-hour long meeting that took place at the Punjab House agreed on a draft consisting of long, medium, and short term strategies to eliminate terrorism.

In what was termed an initial draft the meeting proposed strengthening the National Country Terrorism Authority (NACTA) and intelligence system.

The sources said that the draft was expected to be presented before the parliamentary body today (Monday).
