Musharraf treason case may be declared null and void: former attorney-general

ISLAMABAD: Former Attorney General Anwar Mansoor Khan has said that the Pervez Musharraf high treason case may be declared null and void in light of a recent ruling by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Speaking exclusively to Geo News, Former AG Anwar Mansoor Khan said that the federal cabinet had not taken the decision to launch the treason case against former military dictator Pervez MUsharraf.

The Interior secretary had decided to submit the treason reference without the approval of the federal cabinet, he said.
