NOTTINGHAM: Down 2-0 in the five match series against England, the under pressure Pakistan team is confident of making a comeback when they face off against the hosts in the third match in Nottingham on Tuesday.

Pakistan lost the first two matches of the series by 44 runs and 4 wickets at Southampton and Lord's respectively and are set to play the third ODI on Tuesday at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

The third ODI is must win for Pakistan to keep the series alive and the team's Wales born all rounder Imaad Wasim is confident that Pakistan can bounce back in the series to change the momentum.

"We need just one win to regain the momentum in series, we are looking to win at Trent Bridge with a big margin to regain our confidence for the series," Imaad said ahead of Pakistan's practice session before the third ODI in Nottingham.

"I am 100% confident that we will win the third ODI," he replied when asked if the team is ready to fight back in the series.

The all rounder agreed that batting will have to play a greater role to give bowlers a platform to launch the attack.

"We are few runs short in both the ODIs, at Lord's we managed to post 250 after going three wickets down for two runs, but we must score more runs on board so that the bowlers remain out of pressure," he added.

He also expressed confidence that he can play an important role for Pakistan in matches to come.

"I believe that I can win matches for Pakistan with bat and ball both, and I am doing my best to prove that," he said.

Meanwhile, England's Liam Plunkett was confident to make Trent Bridge game as series decider.

"We are certainly looking forward for the game, we know Pakistan is a good side and they can bounce back,"

"But we are looking to win the series 5-0," he said.
