KARACHI: Spokesman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Naeemul Haq on Wednesday said that the party was reorganising itself in Karachi.
Talking to Geo News, he said that they were in process of recruiting workers in the party.
“Our next rally would be even bigger than the one staged in 2013”, he added.
The statement comes after many politicians criticised PTI for their reported low turnout during yesterday’s rally where the party chairman Imran Khan had also addressed.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar taunted the party over less participation by the public in its rally.
Speaking to supporters in Karachi, Sattar said the PTI jalsa (rally) at Nishter Park turned out to be a 'jalsi', while participation by the masses at the MQM public gatherings in large numbers surprised many.
PTI chairman in his address had slammed the MQM founder over his anti-Pakistan speech saying that he had no plans of coming to Karachi, but listening to the MQM supremo's rant he decided to visit the megapolis.
He accused the MQM founder of having wanted to divide the country.
