LAHORE: Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Lahore Qalandars has signed ambidextrous pacer Yasir Jan.

Lahore Qalandars had discovered Yasir Jan during 'Jazz Rising Star' trials in Rawalpindi. The young man had stunned the camp by bowling both right and left-arm with equal pace, line and length.

He was on Tuesday signed by Lahore Qalandars for 10 years.

Yasir Jan, who hails from Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and resides in Islamabad, said the Qalandars brought him to light and he would try to further hone his skills after having signed by the franchise.

Upon the discovery of Jan, Lahore Qalandars coach and former Pakistan cricketer Aqib Javed had said he has never come across such a bowler in his life.

“This is the first time I have seen a bowler who can bowl fast with both arms,” he had told Geo News.
