Transformers brought to life by the Turks

 

Letivision, a Turkish research and development startup has built a 2013-ish BMW 3 Series coupe that transforms in to a 15 foot robot.

Named the ‘Letron’, the bot is a 1:1 scale representation of what an actual bot would look like and can be driven remotely with a Wi-Fi controller. When in car mode, it can move and turn with its electric power but once transformed, it can move its head and arms as well as activate lights and sounds and can poot smoke.

Letivision has plans to build more of these in the future but you can only purchase one "if the buyers' project and their reasons for use meet the criteria of the Letrons team."
