Three envoys designate present credentials to President

ISLAMABAD: Envoys designate of Canada Nepal and Bhutan Thursday presented their credentials to President Mamnoon Hussain at an impressive ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr.

Each envoy designate arrived at the main gate of the Aiwan-e-Sadr in a horse driven carriage said a President House statement.

On the occasion the national anthem of Pakistan and their respective countries were played and the envoys designate were also presented guard of honour.

Later the high commissioner and ambassadors separately called on the President.

Speaking on the occasion the president said that Pakistan was desirous of further promoting friendly and brotherly relations with all countries particularly with its neighbours for peace stability and prosperity of the region.

He said Pakistan offered great investment opportunities and urged the foreign investors to avail them.

Operation Zarb-e-Azb is progressing successfully emphasizing that the operation would continue till elimination of the lastterrorist he added.

The president felicitated the newly appointed envoys toPakistan and hoped that they would work for further cementing the existing ties of their respective countries with Pakistan.

He also wished them a comfortable and pleasant stay in Pakistan.

The envoys who presented their credentials included Perry John Calderwood High Commissioner of Canada Sewalamsal Adhikari Ambassador of Nepal and Sonam Tobden Rabgye Ambassador of Bhutan (Resident in Bangladesh).
