ASF foils bid to smuggle heroin to KSA

PESHAWAR: The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to Saudi Arabia and arrested one accused here on Friday.

The ASF while conducting baggage check on a passenger bound for Saudi Arabia through a private airline from Bacha Khan Airport Peshawar discovered heroin concealed in secret cavities of his bag.

The ASF confiscated the recovered heroin worth hundreds of thousands of rupees in the international market and arrested the accused Ali Nawaz who was later handed over to police for further investigation.
