Police surrounds Jahangir Tareen’s residence in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Police on Thursday encircled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Jahangir Tareen’s residence in Islamabad.
According to details, four police mobiles arrived at the PTI leader’s residence and blocked the street leading to his house.
Mocking the heavy presence of police outside his house, Jahangir Tareen said his house had never been surrounded by police before. “But today, Masha’Allah, police came to my house,” he said.
Jahangir Tareen said that police has also been assigned outside PTI leader Aleem Khan’s office in Lahore. He added that such a move is a scare tactic and is evidence that the government is dishevelled.
The PTI leader vowed that the party would not back down from its purpose, come what may.
About the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) orders barring PTI from shutting down the capital on November 2, Tareen said the decision would be discussed in a meeting and then the party would inform the media.
Earlier today IHC, during the hearing of petitions seeking to stop PTI sit-in, issued orders that no containers will be allowed in the city and no roads will be blocked. The court further said that no exams in the city will be rescheduled and all schools will remain open on November 2.
