Prime Minister congratulates Trump on US election victory

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif congratulated presidential-elect Donald Trump for winning the US elections.

"The Government of Pakistan want to congratulate Trump over winning the presidential election," the Prime Minister said.

Trump's victory is actually the victory of America's right to vote and believe in freedom, he added.

Donald Trump won in 290 electoral votes, exceeding the 270 benchmark needed to win the presidential elections.
