Professor who predicted Trump win, also predicts his impeachment

Professor Allan Lichtman predicted Donald Trump will be elected US president when polls pointed to Hillary Clinton winning with ease.

Donald Trump did indeed win in what is being seen as the biggest US Presidential election upset in history.

Professor Licthman used a historically based system of what he called “keys” to predict a Trump win.  In a Washington Post article, Lichtman outlined how Obama’s second term tipped the balance in Trump’s favour.

Professor Lichtman also made another prediction, but this one was based on a gut feeling. He told Washington Post in September that if Trump was elected he would eventually be impeached by a Republican Congress which would favour Mike Pence as president.

Following the election, protests erupted in several US cities with people refusing to accept Donald Trump as their president. According to reports, hours after Clinton conceded, Google searches regarding how to impeach a president increased by 5,000 percent.
