Kismat Baig hit by 12 bullets, died of blood loss: post-mortem report

LAHORE: Stage actress Kismat Baig was hit with 12 bullets and loss of excessive blood led to her death, the post-mortem report revealed on Friday.

The dead body of the slain actress was handed over to her family members after post-mortem.

The report stated that loss of blood was the main cause of death.

The bullets hit her legs, stomach and hand.

Unknown gunmen opened fire on stage actress Kismat Baig and her guard on Thursday as her car passed through Harbanspura area.

Kismat Baig had suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital, however, she later succumbed to her injuries. The gunmen took away Kismat’s mobile phone and a gold chain in her neck.

Baig started her career ten years ago from Gujranwala. She shifted to Lahore four years ago.
