Another death hoax quashed, Farida Jalal ‘hale and hearty’

Social media has its unknown mechanism of spreading death rumours of celebrities and famous personalities from time to time. This time around, veteran Bollywood actress Farida Jala fell victim to baseless news, which claimed her demise.
As being the norm, social media users started forwarding and sharing the news without any further insight into the matter.
Fortunately for the fans of the famous and beloved actress, she is alive and well, according to a DNA India report.
Upon contact, Farida said that she is hale and hearty.
"I don't know where these baseless rumours are coming from. Initially, I laughed, but from last 30 mins my phone have been constantly ringing and everybody is asking the same question. It's a bit irritating, I wonder why people spread such rumours,” she said.
The popular actress has acted in hundreds of Bollywood films, with notable ones being Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Student Of The Year, Television series Sharrarat.
