BARCELONA: Remember our beloved and ever so trust worthy Nokia 3310? Well, it’s back and it is here to stay.

Nokia’s decision to resurrect the modern classic has been making the rounds for quiet sometime. HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, finally unveiled on Sunday the new version in a ceremony before the upcoming Mobile World Congress and it looks nothing like the original.

Nokia has given a colourful and modern spin to its “best-selling feature phones of all time.” The phone will be available in four distinctive colours including warm red and yellow, with a gloss finish, and dark blue and grey, with matte finish.

Don’t judge the book by its cover as yet as the phone promises an “incredible 22-hour talk-time and month long stand-by,”according to the press release. More importantly, it will maintain its durability (and isn’t that one of the major reasons why we loved the first one so much).

The phone is expected to be priced at average global retail price of €49.

Also, that is not all it. Our favourite game Snake is also making a comeback with the phone. Even though, different versions of the game are available on Android and IOS but they were just not the same.

At the occasion, the company also unveiled three new smart phones; the new Nokia 6, the elegant Nokia 5 and the affordable Nokia 3. “The new range of Nokia smartphones all run Android™ Nougat and offer a pure, secure and up to date experience and will all feature Google Assistant,” according to the press release.
