ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Friday barred all party representatives from sharing a public forum with Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Jawed Latif.

A video is making rounds on social media in which the PML-N leader can be heard slandering PTI leader Murad Saeed’s female family members. The PTI leader and Jawed Latif earlier on Thursday broke into a scuffle outside the National Assembly hall, an act which was caught on camera.

Taking note of Latif’s comments, Imran Khan tweeted that no PTI leader will attend a television talk show where the PML-N leader has been invited as a guest.

The National Assembly Secretariat later on Thursday issued a notification to probe into the brawl between the two MNAs. The committee will report its findings to the NA Speaker till March 16th 2017, according to the notification.

PTI stages walkout from National Assembly

Taking things further PTI leaders staged a walk out from the National Assembly arguing that Jawed Latif should issue an apology. The Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan and Jamat-e-Islami did not join the walk out.

During the session the assembly hall echoed with slogans of "Shame Shame" raised by PTI leaders.

PTI leader Arif Alvi said that Jawed Latif made personal remarks about Murad Saeed.

PTI parliamentarian Ayesha Gulalai said that Jawed Latif's membership should be suspended.
