KARACHI: Around 30 houses in Machhar Colony have beem razed to the ground, which enraged the locals who set ablaze a vehicle of the anti-encroachment team.

The protesters told Geo News on Wednesday their valuables were destroyed during the "destruction" of their houses. They added the move has caused a loss to their properties. Locals took to the streets, blocking Mauripur Road for traffic. They also put on fire a vehicle of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation.
