NAB suspect escapes police custody

KARACHI: A suspect managed to flee from the custody of court police on Thursday evening from the premises of a private hospital near Punjab Chowrangi, informed sources.

National Accountability Bureau had arrested Hussain Baksh Narejo, former store in charge of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited Baluchistan (OGDCL), on corruption charges of as many as Rs 270 million in the court.

While speaking to Geo News, NAB informed that police is yet to formally inform them of the case; hence they won’t be giving their version on it right away.
