Tortured body recovered from suitcase in Karachi's Jheel Park

KARACHI: A body was found in a suitcase from Jheel Park near Tariq Road in the city on Tuesday.
According to rescue officials, the body bore torture marks. The deceased was identified as 24-year-old Rashid, a resident of Baghdadi in Lyari.
The incidents of tortured bodies being found around the city have become common recently.
On Monday, the body of a woman bearing bruises was found in a house in City Railway Colony.
A few days back, another woman's body was recovered from the city's Taiser Town area. Rescue officials had said the body bore also bore torture marks.
Before that, the body of a reportedly missing girl was recovered from Manghopir.
The girl was identified as six-year-old Sidrah, according to the police officials.
