PESHAWAR: Awami National Party President Asfandyar Wali Khan demanded on Sunday that all the people named in the Panama Papers case should be investigated.

He urged the National Accountability Bureau chairman to take action against all the people named in the case while addressing a rally in Chamkani area of Peshawar.

“Nawaz Sharif wasn’t the only person named in the Panama Papers case,” he remarked, adding that there are many people who own 30 to 35 offshore companies.

On corruption allegations against the party, he said that people accusing the party of corruption should detail how many ANP workers are being investigated over such charges.

He also assured the people that the line between FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa drawn by the British will be eliminated soon.

Lashing out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan, he remarked that Imran is fighting for the throne in Islamabad.

“It is a joke to recruit a metric pass person as a doctor in KP,” he added.

Over the issues between Pakistan and Afghanistan, the leader advised that both the countries should resolve their issues diplomatically by holding peace talks.
