SRINAGAR: Indian troops, in occupied Kashmir, martyred six more Kashmiri youth in Bandipore district today (Saturday), according to the Kashmir Media Service (KMS).

The troops killed the youth during a siege and search operation at Chadergeera in Hajin area of the district. 

Earlier, a commando of the Indian Air Force was killed and an army man was injured in an attack in the same area, the KMS reported. 

The operation continued till reports were last received. 

Indian troops had earlier martyred two youth in Baramulla district of occupied Kashmir on November 5. 

The youth were killed in Uri area of the district during a siege and cordon operation in the area. 

An Indian army spokesman in a statement in Srinagar had claimed that the youth were killed during a gunfight. However, the identity of the martyred youth could not be ascertained, immediately.
