LAHORE: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has summoned a session of the newly-formed Pakistan Muslim League-N's (PML-N) Central Executive Committee (CEC) on Monday.
The CEC has been formed as the party's apex decision-making body, after its Central Working Committee (CWC), which includes around 100 members.
Monday's meeting, which will take place at the Punjab House in Islamabad around noon, is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar, and other senior party leaders.
