World record set in making cups of tea in an hour

WITHAM: Former 'X Factor' runner-up Olly Murs joined forces with an advertising campaigner Alex Loughlin to make a staggering 496 cups of tea in just one hour - setting the new world record for the Most cups of tea made in one hour.

Olly teamed up with T4's Battlefront in support of Alex Loughlin's Meet Your Street campaign.

The pair succeeded in their mission to set a brand new Guinness World Record in Witham, Olly's hometown, for the most amounts of cups of tea made in one hour.

The campaigning duo was supported by friends and family from Olly's home county Essex.
