ISLAMABAD: The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF)and Gulberg Residencia Islamabad (GRI) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for sharing electricity, Sui gas, link road and graveyard facilities in their housing schemes.
OPF Managing Director Habib-ur- Rehman Khan and Secretary Intelligence Bureau Cooperative Housing Society (IBECHS) Shujaat Ullah Qureshi signed the documents on behalf of GRI here.
The MoU was signed to share the facilities for OPF Housing Scheme and Gulberg Residensia (GRI) Zone-V, Islamabad including 132KV AIS Grid Station in GRI and provision of a suitable number of 11KVfeeders for OPF through the premises of GRI as permissible under WAPDA bye laws.
Besides, the other facilities include provision of sui gas from Islamabad Highway upto OPF, construction of approach road for OPF and GR and common graveyard.
The sharing of above services will reduce the development cost of both the housing schemes and will also provide basic facilities to the OPF scheme.
The ceremony was attended by OPF officers, IBECHS managing committee and members. The Director General (Planning) CDA, Ghulam Sarwar Sindhu was also present on the occasion.(APP)
