Pedestrian bridge near Lahore's PU collapses after dumper truck collision

LAHORE: A dumper truck rammed into the Punjab University premises Sunday night, causing a public crossing bridge to collapse, Geo News reported, citing authorities.

Rescue sources said the dumper truck hit the pedestrian bridge near the institute's new campus on Canal Road. Fortunately, no lives were lost in the incident.

Police, on the other hand, filed a first information report (FIR) and arrested the driver of the dumper truck.
